8 Things Every Woman Should Have . . .

So I've seen this post on a few different ladies' blogs, and when I saw it on Life of Ry's . . . I decided it was my turn!

1. A Go To Drink: Being that I live in Oregon wine country, my usual go to drink would be wine. Anything from sweet to dry, red to white . . . it all just depends on the day and the mood I'm in.



2. A Go To Karaoke Song:
If I karaoked  . . . or if my husband would give up the mic long enough to give me a chance to karaoke haha then my go to song would probably be Dixie Chicks: Ready To Run. I have so many memories of singing this song at the top of our lungs in the car with my mom. I would still have to say one of my favorite things is to turn the music up loud in my car, open my sun roof, and sing super loud without a care in the world! Maybe I'll turn on some Dixie Chicks on my way home tonight!

3. A Uniform:
I would have to honestly say that my favorite clothing option would be sweat pants and a comfy shirt . . . but for everyday ware I'm a jeans, sweater, and flats kinda girl. A little dressy, with a comfy element. If I'm not comfortable I'm not happy. Add that with always being cold, and even on summer days you can usually find a sweater or sweatshirt close by.

4. A Hair Stylist They Love:
This is the area where I am definitely lacking . . . I have switched around quite a bit when it comes to hair stylists and have yet to find one I really love. Maybe it's my frugal bone or my indecisiveness but if you have any suggestions on how to pick a great one . . . send them my way!

5. An Exercise Routine:
This is something I have been thinking about and working on lately. My change in jobs and schedule have gotten me totally off track with my workout routine. I went from having completely random hours and a fairly flexible schedule to basically the complete opposite with a 9-5 job. My husband's job doesn't really help my either, when I only get to see him a couple nights a week, I want to spend as much time with him as I can. Running is definitely my go to form of exercise, and I want to get back to training and run some more races in the near future, so I'm thinking of downloading a new running app to help motivate me to get my routine figured out!

6. A Hobby:
I love my camera and everything about photography. I also love blogging and being creative! Anything DIY, crafty, or yummy in the kitchen is right up my alley and what you can usually find me blogging about.

7. A Best Friend:
While my husband is my number one, I am also blessed with some other amazing friends in my life! From my mom, to coworkers turned besties, to people who are more like family than friends. I have some amazing people in my life!





8. A Healthy Sense of Self:
As a woman and a twenty-something one at that, I think its natural to doubt yourself or feel insecure about some of your qualities, but more and more I am feeling happier about who I am and who I am becoming. For a long time I struggled with who Libby really was and where I was going in my life. I've started to realize that I was worrying too much about my future and not living for today.
