I'm Back . . . .

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

Yes you heard right, I am unfortunately back to work and back to reality from our amazing vacation! After all the last few months have brought us, this vacation was the perfect reset and getaway for the two of us. As always, I was ready to get back to my pets and my own bed, but definitely not ready to go back to work. I plan on blogging all about our trip and some tips from our cruise and the places we visited, but I have mountains of work and emails to catch up on too . . . so this post will have to be short. I'll leave you with a couple photos and a thought that is constantly on my mind . . .

So this trip was one of the last big things we had on our bucket list to do before we started a family . . . now we're back from our trip, unpacked and back at work and still just as confused as ever as to when to decide to make that leap. Have you given yourself a date or a goal that you wanted to meet before having kids? Have you accomplished that goal and still questioned whether or not you're ready? I'd love to hear your thoughts :)

  1. Welcome back. My daughter wasn't exactly in the 5 year plan when she was born so theres that, but I can tell you in some ways I'm almost glad. There's no such thing as being "completely prepared" for a child. Its wonderful and amazing and will certainly change your life. As long as you feel you can provide for your child, I would suggest sooner rather than later. It will give you more time with the new love of your lives.

  2. Looks like a lovely vacation! Can't wait to here more about it! Can't weight in on the whole baby thing because I've decided not to have children.
