Since I started blogging I've seen lots of different layouts, read thousands of blog posts, and have come to admire and love a few select bloggers. Now, don't get me wrong, there are tons of blogs I LOVE reading every day, but here are five that I would absolutely love to spend the day with or just be BFFs. Here are the ladies I look up to!
One: Erin from Living In Yellow. If you haven't met Erin or seen her blog, you've probably been living under a rock. I found her blog shortly after starting mine and it became a staple in my day. I am always a little intimidated to tweet her or comment on her blog because I feel like she's so popular and such an awesome blogger, why would she wanna talk to little ole' me. But I got the opportunity to join in on one of her Blogger Happy Hours and she's one of the nicest, most down to earth ladies you'll ever talk to! If you get the chance to be a part of one of these Happy Hours, definitely jump at it! Not only do you get to chat with some of your favorite ladies, but you also get to pick their blogging brains! I love Erin's posts. She's real, down to earth, funny, and she tells it like it is! I literally wish I could be her BFF because I'm pretty sure our hangouts would include lots of Mac n cheese, alcohol, and dancing! Erin, if you ever decide to come to Oregon, I'll be your personal tour guide for lots of wineries & breweries!
Believe in the Sparks. This little lady is one of the sweetest people I've gotten to know through blogging! And if you haven't stopped by her blog, you should go tell her Congratulations because she's getting married tomorrow! I'm so excited for her and know she will be the most beautiful bride! Morgan and I have joked before about meeting up somewhere sunny and spending the day shopping, going to happy hours, and lounging by the beach and pool, but in all honestly any day she wants me to do that I would be on the first plane outta here!
Three: Lauren from Peach State of Mind. Lauren is another soon to be bride who's blog I quickly fell in love with. I am definitely a sucker for a wedding post, but I just love how down to earth and sweet she is. I don't know if it's because she's a second grade teacher, a dog mom, or from my favorite state (Georgia, Go Braves) but she is truly just an all around nice person! I've mentioned more than once to my hubby that we need to go to Atlanta to see a braves game and meet up with a few of my favorite souther bloggers and this lady would be on the top of that list! Reading her blog and getting to know her better, she is one of the most real and caring people I've met through this blogging world! I can't wait to see her beautiful wedding come together and hear all about her special day!
Four: Whitney from I Wore Yoga Pants. Whitney is another ones of those "when I grow up I want to be like" bloggers. She was also a part of the Blogger Happy Hour I participated in, which made me want to be BFFs with her even more! I always look forward to her posts and truly appreciate her honesty and openness on her blog! I find myself thinking, my blog is too little, or I'm not cool enough to be her friend, all while thinking it would be so much fun to hang out with her! Plus who could resist her adorable dog sir? Maybe one day I'll convince my hubby to take me to Florida and Whitney can be my tour guide all around Disney! For now, I'll continue to read every single post, even the old ones she posted before I was around these parts, and I'll live vicariously through her travels and fun weekend plans!
The Samantha Show. Samantha truly inspires me every day by her strength, compassion and beauty! Although I haven't spoken with her much, a few comments on her blog and such, I am amazed at the amazing mother, wife and friend she is! While I know it takes an amazing love and strength to be a military wife, that's not the only reason she inspires me! She's moved away from family and friends and had to figure out how to create a new normal in her new home with an extra little one added to their beautiful family, and another furry one running around. She's real, honest, and relatable in all her posts and truly makes me wish we lived closer! I'm really excited for her as she embarks on a journey to fulfill one of her dreams of being a photographer! And if I ever make it over that way, I'll definitely have her take some pictures for me!
If you haven't stopped by some of these amazing ladies' blogs, please do so! You definitely won't be disappointed! I bet money, that you will love each of them just as much as I do! Who are your favorite bloggers? Who do you wish you could hang out with for a day?
