OCD = Obsessive Christmas Disorder

Monday, December 1, 2014

It's December 1st which means only 24 more days until one of my favorite days of the year! Ever since I can remember I have LOVED Christmas time. I think it all stems back from my childhood, because I can always remember it seeming like such a magical time. From photos under the tree to decorating it and sing Christmas songs all together, my parents always went out of their way to make Christmas such an amazing time of year! I'm also a firm believer in the idea that people who's birthdays are close to Christmas love the holidays even more. (My birthday is December 19th,  only 18 shopping days left!)

But last years holidays were far less than magical. After spending Christmas night in the hospital sitting outside the ICU and loosing Dans dad on the day after, the entire holiday season sort of seemed like they never happened. So this year, I am determined to make them that much better and more memorable! In an effort to make sure I get to experience and see as much as possible, I made a list of all the
Fun things I hope to do this holiday season!

Holiday 2014 Goals:

- Go to Zoo lights with friends
- Go See the nutcracker
- Host our holiday party
- Go see the lights at the Oregon Garden

- Attend the holiday piano concert by Michael Allen Harrison
- Help with Toy & Joy
- Attend the Fire Department Holiday Dinner & Decorate the City
- Send out holiday cards
- Drive around and look at Christmas lights
- Help our parents decorate their trees
- Get a christmas tree & decorate it! (or two)
- Move in to our new home & decorate it all for the holidays!

What are some of your holiday goals? What are some traditions that make your holiday season even better?  I know one thing that would make this season better, some cash!!

It is that time of year where a little extra cash couldn't hurt anyone! I have teamed up with a few darlings to bring you $100 in paypal cash! Because we all know at this time of year, we all need it!! this giveaway is open to international and US residents and will be $120 US dollars, transferred into whatever currency.  the giveaway will run dec 1 - dec 8! best of luck lovelies! happy holidays!!
